The geeks among you may have noticed that today's strip bears more than a passing resemblance to a certain epic video game. Periodically, I would like to have dep edge strips which mimic different styles. I've already got a few ideas kicking around, and I hope they turn out as well as (I think) this one did.
A few things to notice about this image: the color palate has been reduced to mimic the emulation powers of the SNES, the so-called midget ninjas are still twice Dimitri's size (human enemies in the games tended to be much bigger than your own characters, i.e. Kefka, Golbez, etc.), Dimitri's full name wouldn't fit into the 6 letter slots, and the blood and gore from the previous panel wouldn't be visible because defeated enemies 'disappear'.
